The brand was founded in Naples in 1999 as the family business of passionate menswear connoisseur Marco Pescarolo and his wife Anna De Matteis. Their origins played a significant role in the formation of the brand: Marco grew up in a family working in the printing and paper industry, and Anna comes from a family of textile merchants and knows everything about that.
Each of the brand's collections is distinguished by thoughtfulness of details and special attention not only to cut and tailoring, but also to the smallest details ; from the selection of natural horn or corozo buttons to hand-embroidered labels.
In the constant search for excellence, Marco Pescarolo and Anna De Matteis choose the finest of the many fabrics on the market. They give preference to Italian manufacturers who buy fabrics from fine wool to pure cashmere. The brand also uses cotton fabrics with an elastic effect: from tricotine to gabardine and super-lightweight 14 micron fabrics. The search for innovative materials, unusual patterns and textures, from micro-patterns to unusual prints, allows the creators of the brand to rethink the idea of men's trousers, to make them modern, but not devoid of comfort for the sake of fashion. The production process of creating stylish trousers includes both machine and manual operations.
The Made in Naples inscription is a source of pride for the Pescarolo family and its origin is indicated by the mask of Pulcinella, the witty and hilarious character of the commedia dell'arte. The mask symbol often adorns not only the label, but also the outer and inner seams of Marco Pescarolo products.
All stages of the production of the brand's collection, from the selection of fabrics and accessories to design and tailoring, are carried out in Italy.
