The family company, founded in 1962 by Ampelio Rota in Fidenza near Parma, specializes in trousers. In this art the company has reached real heights. A significant part of their orders consist of the production of trousers for other brands, but Rota's own collection impresses with a variety of types of fabrics, patterns and models. The company orders cotton, twill, flannel, corduroy, cashmere and worsted wool from the best European producers. Rota trousers are an example of a high-quality industrial product, some of the details of which are finished by hand, for example, the tack-stitches of the seams, as well as the inner part of the belt. One more important non-obvious detail: Rota always leaves a sufficient amount of fabric between the seams, so that the trousers can be easily adjusted to the figure.
