The shirt brand Fray has more than half a century of successful history. Lucia Pasin opened her first atelier in 1962 on one of the most beautiful streets in Bologna. Her unique skill, taste and desire for beauty helped her create a reference men's shirt. And thanks to the business talent of her husband Giorgio Randi, the family business has grown into a well-known company with factory production near Bologna. Over the years, Fray has become synonymous with quality and beauty, no wonder the company's mission sounds as follows: “We want every man who wears our Fray shirt to know that he is obviously elegant.”

Half a century later, the equipment of the factory has changed, but the principles of aesthetics, quality and scrupulous attitude to every detail laid down by the founders have remained unchanged.

All machine seams on Fray shirts are made using an ultra-thin needle, which allows you to make up to 10 stitches per centimeter. Each detail is cut out manually using cardboard patterns, and the patterns at the joints of the parts are perfectly matched. The seams on the shoulders, cuffs and fastenings are carried out with special care. The armhole is sewn from the inside by hand to ensure maximum comfort. At the request of the customer, the buttonholes are manually overstitched. Fray uses buttons made of Australian mother-of-pearl, perfectly rounded to make them easier to fasten. The Fray fabric catalog contains hundreds of items from the best Italian and worldwide manufacturers, including cotton with the index 170-300, Sea Island, and many other materials. Each product is ironed out by hand before packing.

In the Sartale store, you can find a Fray shirt for any occasion - from classic white and blue shirts to informal striped models and other patterns, as well as summer models with an open collar.
